Why Antas?

Antas is a small town that borders Vera, Los Gallardos and Cuevas del Almanzora. It is a quiet place in the interior of the region. You can find all the basic amenities and places to relax without any overcrowding from people. It is also suitable as a area for full time living providing services such as a school, bank, supermarkets, and medical center for example.

Where to Move:

Antas town: It is the nucleus of the town and hub for all the main amenities.
Aljariz: It is a small hamlet that belongs to Antas. It is a good place to get a country property as it is a quiet place however within easy reach of the main town.
La Huerta: Small neighborhood right next to Aljariz. Like the aforementioned, it is a good place to live in the countryside.
El Real: It is a small town in Antas where the economic and historical engine of the town is located. There we can find many orange groves and the industrial estate. In addition to El Real there is also a historical site and an aqueduct built in 1902.

Do you know how Antas was built?

That was in the XVI Century, when the Muslim Citizens from Vera were expelled and they had to start a new life. In that moment was when they started building Antas and making a prosper town with good crops due to the river next to them. In any case, even if the citizens of Antas had been really expelled, it was the town that had the best relationship with Vera of all the locals.
